The violin is built inspired by the the Antonio Gragnani 1764 model and is made with
spruce from Val di Fiemme for the soundboard, maple variety “Pseudoplatanus” for the back
bands and neck. The varnish of brown orange pigments on a golden yellow base, it is spirit
based on the Master’s own recipe and is antiqued.
The fingerboard is in Indian ebony, pegs and chin rest are in rosewood.
