The Viola is made on the model of Fernando Ferroni,a Florentine luthier with a strong personality.
Spruce wood from Val di Fiemme for the soundboard, wood of maple, “Pseudoplatanus” variety,
for back – two pieces – sides and neck.
Fingerboard, pegs and chin rest are in Indian ebony. The varnish is amber red pigments
on a golden yellow base and it is a spirit varnish made with the Master’s personal recipe.
