The Viola, made on a model inspired by Antonio & Girolamo Amati 1615,
is built with spruce wood from Val di Fiemme for the soundboard, wood of
Tuscan black poplar from the Mugello area for back, sides and neck.
Fingerboard, pegs and chin rest are in Indian ebony. The varnish is amber red pigments
on a golden yellow base and it is a spirit varnish made with the Master’s personal recipe.
